All Phillips Graduate University formerly Phillips Graduate Institute and California Family Study Center degrees and certificates awarded prior to May 1, 2019 are regionally accredited by Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), American Art Therapy Association and/or California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
In April 2019, PGU decided to restructure in order to focus on international and online programs. We voluntarily withdrew the accreditation from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and transferred the MFT program to our partner university and suspended our in-person degree programs in California. PGU is working on restructuring in order to complete our accreditation with Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC) in the near future.
PGU continues to offer high-quality graduate-level online programs for international and online learners. Our research and development projects are operating without disruption.
